Information products survey

Hot News, the EBLIDA newsletter on EU library & information society issues; Update on EU developments, a monthly digest of European funding opportunities and legislation; can't wait to receive your copy each month or couldn't care less?! Or something in between??

Thank you to everyone who returned the information products survey to us. We have analysed the results and will use these as the basis for discussion at the EBLIDA Council meeting in The Hague on 3 May 2002. The results of the discussion will be publicised in the minutes of the Council meeting and will become apparant as the information products improve in response!

One of the objectives of EBLIDA is to provide members with information on developments within the European Union. In the context of the EBLIDA Strategy Review, a discussion on the level, format and frequency of the information provided by EBLIDA to members began at the Council meeting in Bremen in 2001. This discussion has continued during the year within the EBLIDA Executive Committee and was accelerated by the decision in September 2001 to suspend publication of the EBLIDA quarterly magazine, Information Europe.

Thank you!
