Meetings venues
Both the seminar and the EBLIDA Working Group on Copyright meeting on Friday are to be held at Warsaw University Library, ul. Dobra 56/66, second floor. To get to the Library you should take bus nr 118 from the bus stop Centrum (the same as we use for the airport bus) and get off at stop named Biblioteka Uniwersytecka. Taxis should cost around 10 Euro.
Transfer from the airport
Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is located in the south-western part of Warsaw, c. 10 km from the city centre. It is easy to get from the airport by buses or taxi.
Bus
Municipal bus service (MZA) (175, 188 lines) operate seven days a week from early morning until late evening hours between the airport and Warsaw center. The bus stop is at the front of Arrival Terminal. Ticket price - one way 2, 40 zl. It is possible but not common to buy tickets at the bus drivers.
Taxi
Taxi rank is at the front of Arrival Terminal. All taxis at the taxi rank are recommended. Journey from the airport to the hotel should cost around 10 Euro (30-40 zl). In most of the taxis you could pay by credit card.
Accommodation
Polonia Palace Hotel, Al. Jerozolimskie 45, 00-695 Warszawa
Distance to Airport: approx. 8 km / 20-30 minutes.
The Polonia Palace is centrally located in the city center of Warsaw, within walking distance of to the financial and shopping districts. The Palace of Culture and Science is just opposite the hotel.

University Library Sightseeing tour is planned for Friday afternoon (in English).
Cultural Activities
Lovers of culture and art, as well as those looking for entertainment, will find much to enjoy in Warsaw. The capital houses great collections of Polish and foreign art. Historic works can be admired at the National Museum, at the Royal Castle, in Wilanów and at the Palace on the Water in Łazienki, while contemporary art is exhibited in the Zachęta Gallery and the Centre of Contemporary Art in Ujazdów Castle.
Warsaw is renowned as a centre of cultural tourism thanks to numerous theatrical and musical venues, including the prestigious National Opera, the Chamber Opera, the National Philharmonic Hall and the National Theatre, as well as the music theatres Roma and Buffo, the Jewish Theatre, characterised by its unique atmosphere.
